Kinerja ekspor Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel) sepanjang Januari-Agustus 2026 mengalami penurunan. Nilai ekspor Sumsel tercatat US$3,9 miliar, turun 6,29% dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun lalu.

Kepala BPS Sumsel Moh Wahyu Yulianto mengatakan penurunan tersebut terutama terjadi pada sektor nonmigas. Nilai ekspor nonmigas Sumsel mencapai US$3,5 miliar atau turun 11,59% secara tahunan.

"Ekspor Sumsel kumulatif hingga Agustus 2026 sebesar US$3,9 miliar atau menurun dibandingkan kumulatif 2025," kata Wahyu, Selasa (6/10/2026).

Sementara itu, ekspor migas justru menunjukkan pertumbuhan. Nilainya mencapai US$451 juta atau meningkat 76,12% dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya.

"Memang ekspor Sumsel jauh lebih besar nonmigas dibandingkan migas. Tetapi untuk ekspor migas mengalami kenaikan, sementara nonmigas mengalami penurunan," jelasnya.

Penurunan ekspor nonmigas terlihat di sejumlah sektor. Sektor pertanian, kehutanan dan perikanan mengalami kontraksi paling dalam, yakni 33,78%, dengan nilai ekspor US$48,49 juta.

Kemudian sektor pertambangan dan lainnya turun 16,33% menjadi US$1,3 miliar. Sementara sektor industri pengolahan juga turun 7,66% dengan nilai ekspor US$2,1 miliar.

Dari sisi komoditas, batu bara dan lignit yang memiliki porsi 37,57% terhadap ekspor Sumsel juga mengalami penurunan sebesar 16,33%.

"Secara spesifik komoditasnya untuk batubara dan lignit yang share-nya 37,57%, ekspornya menurun 16,33%. Kemudian untuk karet dan barang dari karet turun 10,92% dan industri pulp dari kayu naik 2,15%," ujarnya.

Meski sejumlah komoditas utama mengalami penurunan, ekspor Sumsel masih didominasi sejumlah negara tujuan utama. Tiongkok menjadi negara tujuan ekspor terbesar dengan nilai US$1,3 miliar.

Komoditas yang diekspor ke Tiongkok antara lain pulp dari kayu, batu bara dan lignit, serta karet dan barang dari karet.

India berada di posisi kedua dengan nilai ekspor US$431 juta. Komoditas yang dikirim ke negara tersebut meliputi batu bara dan lignit, karet dan barang dari karet, serta bahan kimia organik.

Sementara Malaysia menempati posisi ketiga dengan nilai ekspor US$379 juta. Komoditas utama yang dikirim ke Malaysia yakni batu bara dan lignit, lemak dan minyak nabati, serta kertas, karton dan barang daripadanya.

BPS mencatat penurunan ekspor tersebut terjadi di tengah masih besarnya kontribusi komoditas nonmigas terhadap perdagangan luar negeri Sumsel.
