Inflasi Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel) pada September 2026 tercatat 2,55 persen secara tahunan atau year on year (yoy). Sejumlah komoditas seperti beras, daging ayam, bensin hingga minyak goreng menjadi penyumbang kenaikan harga.

Kepala Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Sumsel Moh Wahyu Yulianto mengatakan inflasi tahunan Sumsel pada September 2026 lebih rendah dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun lalu yang mencapai 3,44 persen.

"Lebih rendah dibandingkan September 2025 yang tercatat 3,44 persen," kata Wahyu dalam rilis berita statistik, Kamis (1/10/2026).

Wahyu mengatakan kelompok makanan, minuman dan tembakau menjadi penyumbang inflasi terbesar dengan andil 0,90 persen dan mengalami perubahan harga 2,89 persen. Kemudian kelompok perawatan pribadi dan jasa lainnya memberikan andil 0,58 persen, serta transportasi sebesar 0,46 persen.

"Untuk komoditas yang menyumbang inflasi tahunan tertinggi pada September 2026 ini terdiri dari emas perhiasan, beras, daging ayam ras, bensin dan minyak goreng," ujarnya.

Sementara itu, secara bulanan atau month to month (mtm), Sumsel mengalami inflasi sebesar 0,21 persen pada September 2026. Angka tersebut juga lebih rendah dibandingkan September 2025 yang mencapai 0,27 persen.

Untuk inflasi bulanan, kelompok makanan, minuman dan tembakau kembali menjadi penyumbang terbesar dengan andil 0,20 persen. Komoditas yang mengalami kenaikan harga antara lain beras, cabai merah, cabai rawit, telur ayam ras dan pisang.

Menurut Wahyu, kenaikan harga beras salah satunya dipengaruhi peningkatan harga di tingkat distributor maupun produsen. Di sisi lain, sejumlah komoditas hortikultura mengalami penurunan harga karena pasokan di pasaran melimpah.

Selain komoditas pangan, kenaikan harga BBM jenis Pertamax, Dexlite dan Pertamina Dex juga turut memberikan pengaruh terhadap inflasi Sumsel pada September.

Wahyu mengatakan pergerakan harga emas juga masih menjadi salah satu faktor yang perlu diperhatikan karena harganya cenderung fluktuatif.

Meski inflasi Sumsel pada September tercatat 2,55 persen secara tahunan, BPS mengingatkan adanya potensi tekanan harga pada tiga bulan terakhir 2026. Oktober hingga Desember bertepatan dengan periode Natal dan Tahun Baru yang dapat memengaruhi permintaan masyarakat.

"Kita masih ada tiga bulan yakni Oktober, November dan Desember yang perlu diwaspadai karena akhir tahun itu bertepatan dengan perayaan Natal dan Tahun Baru," pungkasnya.
