BYD memperkenalkan sedan listrik supermewah Yangwang Altior di Abu Dhabi, Uni Emirat Arab, pada 7 November 2026. Mobil yang dikembangkan untuk menantang Rolls-Royce Ghost dan Mercedes-Maybach S-Class ini menawarkan kabin empat penumpang dengan nuansa dan fitur yang mewah.

Dikutip dari Paultan, Yangwang Altior sebelumnya dikenal dengan nama Dingyao di China. Mobil ini melakukan debut global di Emirates Palace pada acara merek Yangwang pertama yang digelar BYD di luar China.

Buat informasi, nama Altior berasal dari bahasa Latin yang berarti 'lebih tinggi'. BYD menyebut desain mobil ini terinspirasi ding, kuali perunggu kuno China. Pengembangan desainnya membutuhkan waktu tiga tahun.

Empat Motor Listrik dan Jarak Tempuh 1.000 Km

Yangwang Altior menggunakan platform e4 dengan empat motor listrik yang dikendalikan secara independen. Sistem tersebut dapat menyesuaikan torsi setiap roda lebih dari 100 kali per detik untuk membantu menjaga stabilitas kendaraan.

Mobil ini juga dibekali suspensi aktif DiSus generasi terbaru dan sistem bantuan pengemudi God's Eye A. Teknologi ini mendukung bantuan berkendara di jalan tol maupun perkotaan, serta fitur parkir otomatis.
